Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed a crash on the A9 yesterday to contact them.
A grey Ford Transit van and a silver Vauxhall Viva, which were both travelling south at the time, collided at around 1.15pm near the Tore roundabout.
The 24-year-old male driver of the car was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. Police said his injuries are not life threatening.
Road policing constable Paul Whitehead, said: “Our inquires are ongoing into this incident and I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the collision who has not already come forward to please contact the Road Policing Unit in Dingwall by calling 101, quoting incident number NE/1997/19.
“The road was closed for a short period of time to allow us to carry out investigation at the scene and I would like to thank everyone affected for their understanding and patience.”
