Police have launched an appeal after a significant quantity of electrical cabling was stolen from a yard in Lochaber.
Reports of the theft in Fort William were received by police on Thursday, with the theft believed to have taken place between 11.10pm on Tuesday and 1am on Thursday.
The yard, located in the Ben Nevis Industrial Estate, is reported to have had a quantity of cabling valued at a mid-four figure sum stolen.
Officers are urging anybody with any information to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Andy Bilton said: “This cabling is very heavy and would have required a vehicle to move it.
“We would urge anyone who may have seen activity around the industrial estate at the time to let us know, even if it didn’t seem particularly noteworthy at the time.
