The A887 has reopened to motorists following a head-on collision this afternoon.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at Torgoyle Bridge, five miles west of Invermoriston, leaving one motorists trapped in their vehicle.
Police, firefighters and paramedics all attended the scene after receiving the initial call around 1.30pm.
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that the A887 Torgoyle Bridge, Inverness has now reopened. Police Scotland wish to thank members of the public for their patience in this matter.”
Two fire engines from Fort Augustus and Drumnadrochit were both at the scene alongside the air ambulance.
Teams spent more than two hours at the scene working to clear the road of debris and obstruction.
