Two people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the A86.
The collision between a Mercedes E Class car and a Peugeot boxer camper van occurred two miles west of Newtonmore shortly before 3pm.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the scene after the initial call was received at 2.46pm.
Three fire crews from Grantown-on-Spey, Aviemore and Kingussie remain onhand to help with the ongoing rescue operation.

Two passengers were taken to Raigmore Hospital with non-life threatening injuries with one sustaining a seat belt injury whilst the other was transferred with a suspected broken leg.
The road remained closed in both directions as emergency crews worked at the scene.
