Man taken to hospital following two-vehicle crash on A9 near Alness

A man has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision on the A9 near Alness.

First reports of the incident were received just before 11.30am with police and ambulance personnel attending.

One male occupant complained of a sore head following the crash which left the road closed in both directions.

The casualty was taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment; however, his injuries are not believed to be serious.
