A car containing two women was left dangling over a burn on the A830 Fort William to Mallaig road last night.
The pair were driving near Beasdale Railway Bridge near Arisaig when it careered off the route shortly after 6pm.
The female occupants of the vehicle were left trapped for some time before manoeuvring their way safely from the wreckage.
They are understood to have sustained no injuries in the crash.
Police were first alerted to the incident at 6.18pm and fire crews from Mallaig and Fort William were also dispatched to the scene to help assist with the rescue.
