Caberfeidh Shinty Club were delighted to have members of Ross County Cricket Club and the Strathpeffer Highland Gathering committee take part in the training
A north shinty team has been trained to use the new defibrillator fitted at its clubhouse.
The Lucky2BHere charity delivered the lifesaving piece of kit, which will be installed at the front door of the Caberfeidh Shinty Club club house.
The team also delivered training on the use of the defibrillator as well as CPR, stroke awareness and choking.
Caberfeidh Shinty Club were joined by members of Ross County Cricket Club and the Strathpeffer Highland Gathering committee for the session.
Ian MacLean, club president Caberfeidh Shinty Club, said: “This is an important addition to the network of defibrillators in the area and the whole community of Strathpeffer, Achterneed, Blairninich ,Fodderty and the Heights will benefit from its installation.”
