A boat with six people on board has sparked a rescue involving two lifeboats after it went aground in Wester Ross.
The rigid inflatable boat hit trouble in Loch Torridon today.
Portree and Kyle lifeboats were launched at around 3.45pm and are on their way to the scene.
A spokeswoman for the MCA said there was no immediate danger to the stricken boat’s passengers. The vessel set off flares to raise the alarm.
