A multi-agency search has been launched following reports of people being struck by lightning. Police, coastguard, the Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team and Scottish Ambulance Service personnel are all involved in the incident. UPDATE: A police spokeswoman said the response was following reports of “persons” being struck by lightning in the Mamores area, Kinlochleven. She said there were no further details available on the number of people involved or their condition. It is understood a number of properties in the area lost power during the storm. More to follow.
