A crew from Beauly were sent out to the town after a member of the public contacted the service at 5.40pm reporting they had “heard a bang”. The spokesman said: “The crew were stood down shortly after arrival after it was established that the incident was a false alarm. “The call was made with good intention and our crew stood down at 5.55pm.”
