Police in Lochaber are appealing for information after a break-in which occurred at the remote Steall Falls hut in Glen Nevis.
The building was discovered damaged by a member of Lochaber Mountaineering Club on Sunday June 16.
The break in is believed to have occurred sometime after Sunday, June 9.
While entry appears to have been gained to the hut, nothing is believed to have been stolen.
Sergeant Deborah McCartney, of the Lochaber Community Policing Team, said: “We appreciate the hut is in a remote location but I would ask any walkers or visitors to Glen Nevis who may have seen anything suspicious to let us know.
“Anyone who may have information can call police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
