Oban lifeboat has been launched this evening to assist with the transfer of a casualty from Glensanda Quarry.
The incident was first reported to the coastguard at 5.40pm, with the RNLI crew tasked to transfer the patient back to Oban for treatment at a nearby hospital.
A coastguard spokesman confirmed the injuries are believed to be non-serious.
The lifeboat arrived into Oban Harbour around 7.50pm with Oban coast rescue team assisting in removing the casualty from the vessel.
It is understood the casualty will be taken to the Lorn and Islands Hospital via the Scottish Ambulance Service.
