Ronald Garwood, 70, of the Roybridge area, was walking on An Teallach Sgurr Fiona near Dundonnell when the accident happened on June 23. The alarm was raised at around 1:35pm and the man was located by HM Coastguard helicopter. Police said Mr Garwood’s next of kin have been updated. Sergeant Matt Ravenhill said: “Our thoughts are with Mr Garwood’s family and friends at this difficult time. “There are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.” Read more here.
