A Tesco lorry is currently on fire after after one of its rear wheels incinerated on the A9.
Fire crews responded to the incident at Berriedale Braes using hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
The road is closed at Newport with temporary traffic lights in place to allow for recovery work.
Traffic Scotland have suggested traffic delays are inevitable tweeting: “Lights will be there for some time. Traffic a bit slow in the area at present.”
