A groovy pair of fundraisers will don Austin Powers costumes for a charity road trip across Europe.
Scott and Sarah Murray will race across the continent in a Maserati in fancy dress to raise cash for Step Up For Sam.
The couple, who run Inverness Travell, set off tomorrow and will visit France and Germany, before concluding at an unknown location.
This year the generous duo have chosen Step Up for Sam as their chosen charity, following a recent quiz night also held for the charity last month.
The charity was set up for three-year-old Sam Douglas from Inverness who has an undiagnosed neurological condition which causes epilepsy and global developmental delay, requiring regular intensive courses of physical and occupational therapy.
Mrs Murray, director of Inverness Travel, said: “Scott and I are excited to take on this challenge as part of our year of fundraising for Step Up for Sam. We’ll be driving across Europe and taking on challenges against the other teams, complete in Austin Powers fancy dress.
“The Travel Trade Crusade is just one way we are raising money for Sam this year. While there is no cure for his condition, there are a number of therapies and treatments that can give Sam the best chance of gaining some independence, but these come at great costs.
“I can’t wait to take on the Travel Trade Crusade alongside other members of the travel trade – all while raising funds for a brilliant cause. We hope to raise £5,000 and appreciate all donations, small or large.”
A Go Fund Me page has been set up for donations to the duos cause.
