An Inverness bridge is to be temporarily closed to pedestrians this weekend during two concerts which are expected to attract thousands to the Highland Capital.
Infirmary Bridge will be closed from 5pm until midnight on Friday followed by a longer closure on Saturday from 2pm to midnight.
The temporary restrictions have been imposed on the River Ness crossing in an effort to preserve the structure as thousands of music lovers descend on Bught Park for the event.
Traditional Scottish musicians Skipinnish will perform in a big top tent on Friday for their only Scottish Summer Show to mark their 20th anniversary.
Their performance will be followed by a night of entertainment by legendary Scottish duo The Proclaimers.
The famous siblings, fresh from their performance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, will play their best known tracks including I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) and Sunshine On Leith on Saturday.
