Two male motorcyclists has been injured following a multi-vehicle collision near Grantown-On-Spey.
The incident involving two motorbikes and a car unfolded on the A939 Nairn to Grantown road, south of Dava shortly after 11am.
Police and paramedics were both dispatched to the scene following initial reports of the crash around 11.10am.
Two motorcyclists were assessed at the scene before being taken by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital.
An ambulance spokesman said: “We received a call at 1107 hours today to attend an incident on the A939. We transported two male patients to Raigmore Hospital.”
The road remained blocked for some time to oncoming motorists to facilitate the recovery of the vehicles involved.
