Driver escapes car hanging over an embankment on Highland road

The driver of a car left hanging over an embankment near to Spean Bridge managed to escape the incident uninjured.

Firefighters were first called at 7.36pm.

Crews from Spean Bridge, Fort Augustus and Fort William were sent to the scene on the Kilfinnan Road.

But the driver had managed to escape unscathed before they arrived.

The vehicle loomed over the edge of the bank but was secured by emergency workers.

Vehicle recovery has been called.
