Two men have been charged in connection with an alleged disturbance at a north play park.
The incident allegedly happened in the Westford area of Alness at 3pm yesterday.
The 50-year-old and 24-year-old are expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today.
Sergeant Calum Reid of Alness Police Station said: “I would like to thank the residents of Westford for their assistance during inquiries into this incident.
“I would also take the opportunity to appeal to any members of the public who may have witnessed the reported disturbance to attend their local police station or contact Police Scotland via 101 and quote incident number NE/3417/19.”
