Revellers at the Belladrum music festival are being left high and dry after fake drinks tokens have been found on site.
Warning customers that there £5 pre-paid vouchers in circulation, organisers said revellers should only buy tickets from official outlets onsite, or from the Skiddle ticket site.
In a statement organisers said: “It has come to our attention that there are fake bar tokens in circulation this weekend. “Our bar staff are fully aware and will be vigilant. These will not be accepted at the bar.
“If you see any suspicious activity or are offered unofficial tokens please alert the nearest steward.
“Do not challenge the individual yourself.”
The warning comes on the back of an entrance ticket scam where hundreds of people had bought tickets on social media, and were subsequently refused access to the venue.
