Three coastguard rescue teams are currently assisting in the medical transfer of two passengers from a cruise ship in Ullapool.
A coastguard spokesman confirmed a call was received shortly after 8.30am, with the coast rescue teams from Ullapool, Achiltibuie and Lochinver currently providing assistance to the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The spokesman added: “One person has sustained an injury and another is suffering from heart problems.
“Our teams are just waiting for the cruise ship to come alongside so they can assist with the transfer of the patient to the ambulance service.”
