Dashcam footage is being sought following the theft of industrial plant machinery from a construction site near Lochaline.
Police hope to use the video to track down the vehicle they believe must have been used to remove the heavy items.
Thieves gained entry off a forestry road near the water treatment work site sometime between 6pm on Monday August 5 and 12pm on Tuesday 6.
They stole a Montabert hydraulic rock breaker and a set of four-legged lifting chains.
Constable Kevin Swift said: “Our inquiries into this theft are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around the area to come forward.
“The rock breaker is a heavy item of plant and would have required a vehicle to remove it from the site.
“With this in mind, I would urge anyone who may have dashcam footage to review it and pass on anything of note.
“Similarly, if you saw an unknown vehicle operating in the area – perhaps a pick-up or small lorry – then please let us know.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
