Three-vehicle crash closes Highland road

A Highland road was blocked for several hours last night after a three-vehicle crash.

Emergency services were called to the scene north of Drumnadrochit on the A82 Fort William to Inverness road shortly before 6pm.

With debris scattered over the road, police had to close the route and deal with the situation.

The fire service sent a number of units, but there was no need to cut anyone from the vehicles.

There were no serious injuries and the road was later reopened.

None of the emergency services could give the details of the vehicles last night.
