Part of the vital A9 route north was blocked in both directions earlier today following a crash between a lorry and a car towing a caravan.
The incident was reported at 1.40pm to police, with the ambulance service also in attendance.
Those involved in the incident at Ramscraigs, approximately one mile south of Dunbeath, are understood to have only sustained minor injuries.
The road has since reopened, with one lane currently back operational, however, it is understood traffic in the area has backlogged.
