Police are investigating an allegedly assault in Lerwick.
A man was allegedly punched in the face and required medical attention, police said.
It is believed the incident followed a disturbance on the street outside Cee & Jays Store on Commercial Road at around 3.30am yesterday.
A police statement said: “We are investigating a report of an assault whereby a member of the public was assaulted following a disturbance on the street outside Cee & Jays Store, Commercial Road, Lerwick. This person was punched to the face and required medical attention.
“If any information can be provided to police by witnesses please contact 101 or attend Lerwick Police Station.”
