A police dive team will be carrying out searches of the River Dulnain in Carrbridge as part of efforts to trace Jacqueline Ullmer.
Extensive searches have been ongoing for the 60-year-old since she was reported missing from her home in the village on Saturday, August 31.
She has not been since around 1.30am that day on Station Road in Carrbridge and concerns continue to grow for her welfare.
Police Scotland’s Dive and Marine Unit will be operating on the River Dulnain today, while extensive searches continue to be carried out around the village by specialist officers.
Inspector Vince Tough said: “At this time the last sighting of Jacqueline Ullmer remains the early hours of Saturday morning at her home address
“We are making every effort to try and establish Jacqueline’s subsequent movements and these detailed searches form part of that work.
“I would take the chance to thank everyone who has assisted our enquiries so far and urge local residents and visitors to Carrbridge to remain vigilant and report anything they think may be of note to us as promptly as they can.
“Anyone who has any information can call us on 101 quoting incident 1723 of August 31.”
Jacqueline is described as being 5ft 6in tall and of slim build, with brown medium length hair.
It is not known exactly how she was clothed but she is believed to be wearing a blue jumper and blue jeans.
