Search launched for lost walkers on Cairngorms’ tallest mountain

Search efforts are underway to find three people missing on the Cairngorms’ highest peak.

The Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team has been sent to Ben Macdui following reports that the trio “misplaced themselves” on their way down the mountain.

Ben Macdui is the tallest peak in the Cairngorms, and second-highest in the UK after Ben Nevis.
