A social enterprise in Dingwall has started its own gin production as part of a £222,860 investment.
GlenWyvis Distillery was established in 2015 and, following an open share offer in 2016, became the country’s first community-owned distillery, with more than 3,500 investors.
It expanded its range into Scottish craft gin after securing up to £95,830 from Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) to buy equipment.
HIE also supported the development of a fresh and modern identity for the distillery and the development of the GlenWyvis GoodWill gin brand.
Manager Duncan Tait said the team were delighted with the boost.
