A kayaker who capsized in their vessel earlier today was rescued by others in the water.
Invergordon lifeboat launched around 3.25pm to come to the kayaker’s aid, however, was not required to carry out any emergency action due to the swift response from the rescuers.
The stricken kayaker was checked over by medics from the Scottish Ambulance Service before being given the all-clear to head home.
The RNLI crew proceeded to assist in the recovery of the kayak before standing down.
