Work to improve the road between Fort William and Inverness will take place next week.
Resurfacing works will be carried out on the northbound carriageway of the A82 from Monday.
The £120,000 project, on a half-mile stretch near the Great Glen Cattle Ranch, is expected to take four days.
Work will be carried out between 7am-7pm to minimise disruption.
Eddie Ross, from Bear Scotland, said. “This project will help improve the road surface on this section of the A82 near Fort William, creating a safer and smoother journey for motorists.”
Meanwhile, the ongoing £520,000 surfacing project to upgrade a stretch of the A9 at Drumochter is progressing well with teams now beyond the halfway mark.
So far, a third of a mile of the northbound dual carriageway has been upgraded, with work to address a further quarter of a mile stretch southbound due to get started next week.
The improvements are taking place between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Thursday and 7am to 12.30pm on Fridays.
No works are programmed for Saturday or Sundays. The project is expected to be completed by the end of October.
