Following another highly successful Classic Car Tour, the Rotary Club of Inverness Loch Ness has now distributed the proceeds from the event to local charities.
Each year the club selects worthy causes which it will raise funds for, with this year’s recipients including the Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (Chas) charity.
Representatives from the rotary club Ormond Smith, one of the organisers of the tour, and James Campbell, president of the group, made the award of £1,250 to Ruathy Donald of Chas.
She said she was very appreciative of the donation – which will be used to aid in the running of the charity’s dedicated Highland base in Inverness.
