Motorists are experiencing delays this afternoon following a multi-vehicle collision on the A9.
The incident happened at around 1.40pm, three miles outside Tore on the southbound road.
An ambulance was called but it is unknown if anyone has sustained any injuries.
Five fire and rescue appliances were sent from both Dingwall and Inverness but were shortly stood down.

A spokeswoman said: “Emergency services were contacted at 1.40pm following reports of a multi-car crash on the A9 between Tore and the Kessock Bridge.”
Police have closed the road until further notice and are asking motorists to use alternative routes.
