A man was left with facial injuries after a serious assault in a Highland town.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident which happened at 4.30am yesterday in a car park in Argyle Court.
The 27-year-old victim was treated by paramedics at the scene.
The first suspect is described as a white male in his mid to late 20s, around 6ft tall, of a slim build with short dark hair. He was wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans.
The second white male is said to be in his mid to late 20s, around 5ft 10in tall, of a slim build with short dark hair and was wearing a black jacket with black tracksuit bottoms.
Sergeant Nicola MacDonald of Alness Community Policing said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or who was in the area at the time contact police.
“A man has sustained a number of injuries and we are asking anyone who may have information matching these descriptions to get in contact with us.”
