A number of schools are partially or fully closed today across the Highlands and Aberdeenshire this morning.
Up north, Durness Primary, Kinlochbervie High School, Kinlochbervie Primary and Scourie Primary are all partially closed due to bad weather and are expected to open at 10am.
Lochinver Primary and Scoraig School have fully closed due to no water, heating or power in the building.
The delay affects 130 pupils in the area.
In Aberdeenshire, Strichen School is closed to all pupils due to ongoing issues with a flooded boiler room that has left the school with no heating.
The Primary 7 trip to Aberdeen is still going ahead as planned but parents are required to collect children at 1.30pm on their return.
Pupils of Turriff Academy are experiencing delays as some school transport services are not in operation due to icy road conditions.
The Met Office have now issued a yellow weather warning for ice for today and tomorrow.
