Britain’s strongest brothers have launched an online fundraising campaign to help propel them to international success.
Invergordon siblings Luke and Tom Stoltman, 34 and 25 respectively, claimed the prestigious title of World’s Strongest Brothers after securing second and third place during the world’s biggest competition.
Luke still works full time, while Tom uses a mix of sponsorship and training workshops to fund his career.
As costs to compete at high level competitions soar, the brothers have now launched an online crowdfunding appeal in an effort to lighten the financial burden.
Tom explains: “We are at the top level in the world and we fund all our training and travel ourselves.
“As we are representing our country, we are keen to be at as many competitions as possible. But the cost can sometimes be prohibitive.
“We know we can win, so we want to make sure Scotland is on the podium.”
The pair are aiming to raise £1,000 to cover future travel costs to enable them to compete “in as many competitions as possible”.
