Calmac are warning of potential delays and disruption on some island sailings because of strong winds today and tomorrow.
Two freight services have been cancelled for later tonight and early tomorrow between Ullapool and Stornoway because of the expected conditions.
The affected crossings are the Stornoway to Ullapool service at 10.30pm tonight and the Ullapool to Stornoway service at 3am tomorrow.
Daytime passenger services on this route may also be affected today.
❌ RED #Ullapool – #Stornoway 27Nov (FREIGHT) Due to forecast Northeasterly winds and associated swell, the 2230 freight service departing Stornoway tonight, and 0300 departing Ullapool on Thursday morning have been cancelled.
A statement from Calmac said: “Due to forecast strong north-easterly winds, all sailings on Wednesday and Thursday are liable to delay or disruption.”
There are also delays on services between Oban and Castlebay, Kennacraig and Portellen, Lochaline and Fishnish, Uig and Lochmaddy, and Mallaig and Lochboisdale.
