Fire crews were called to Fernhill Drive in Aberdeen.
Three fire crews are currently dealing with a farm building reported ablaze in Orkney.
A fire service spokesman confirmed two crews from Stromness and a further appliance from Kirkwall are in attendance at the farm building in Evie towards the north-west of the mainland.
The fire was reported at 12.43pm with four breathing apparatus, two main jets and a ground monitor in use.
No people are reported to have been caught inside the building.
