Police have named the teenager killed in a three-vehicle crash on the Black Isle.
Gregor McIntosh, 16, from Inverness, was the passenger in a red Vauxhall Corsa that was involved in a crash with a white Nissan Juke and a blue VW Polo on Friday evening.
The cars collided on the A9 at the junction of the B9161 to Munlochy.
Sergeant Angus Murray, of Dingwall Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with Gregor’s family and friends at this very sad time.
“Our inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash and we are grateful to the members of the public who have assisted us already.
“I would ask anyone who has information, in particular drivers with dash-cam footage which might help with our investigation to call us.
“Anyone with information should contact Road Policing in Dingwall on 101, quoting incident 3576 of 20 December, 2019.”
