Uist Gymnastics Club has received a donation from The Scottish Salmon Company (SSC).
The money comes from the firm’s community fund which helps community groups that promote positive health and wellbeing in their local area.
Uist Gymnastics Club was established to provide coaching for all young people in the Uist area.
The club will use the funding to support the training of additional coaches, which will enable them to fully register with Scottish Gymnastics as a competitive team.
Oni Fraser, Coach at Uist Gymnastics Club said: “We are very grateful to The Scottish Salmon Company for its kind donation.
“The funding will be hugely beneficial, allowing us to continue to promote physical fitness as well as building skills, confidence and a positive mental attitude.”
