The Halkirk and Westerdale Parish Church was targeted sometime between 3pm on December 13 and 2.45pm on December 14. Officers believe “an unknown person or persons have attempted to gain access by attempting to force a side door with an unknown implement”. They were unsuccessful in gaining entry but caused damage to the door. Anyone with information is urged to contact Thurso Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
