Oban lifeboat launched this morning to assist an unwell patient from Lismore. The RNLI crew were joined by a coastguard search and rescue helicopter which travelled from Prestwick to assist. The incident was reported around 8.15am with the Scottish Ambulance Service requesting the assistance of their emergency colleagues. The patient’s condition is currently not known. The Oban crew returned to base around 11am after being stood down from the scene.
