UPDATE 6.52pm: The road is now clear and traffic is beginning to return to normal. The incident, involving two cars, happened on the A85 near Bridge of Awe around 4.30pm. Police are on site and asking motorists to use alternative routes. A spokeswoman said: “We received a call around 4.30pm about a two-vehicle crash on the A85 near Bridge of Awe outside Taynuilt. ❗️NEW⌚️16:35#A85, 4 miles east of Taynuilt RTC causing heavy traffic both ways 🚔 are en route@NWTrunkRoads pic.twitter.com/UlW4D0L3Nt — Traffic Scotland (@trafficscotland) January 23, 2020 “The road is currently obstructed. “No injuries have been reported.” According to Traffic Scotland there is a heavy build-up of traffic in both directions.
