Three residents in Ardross had cause for celebration at the weekend after sharing £120,000 from the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The neighbours, all of whom have the IV17 0XW postcode, received their cheques on Saturday.
Teacher Lucy Moseley, 36, said she learnt of her win during a staff meeting at Coulhill Primary School.
She said: “I’m just delighted. I can’t believe it’s actually happened.
“Everyone was with me at the time and they were all cheering away.”
She immediately called her partner Neil to inform him as he was working offshore.
She added: “I called Neil to tell him how much we’d won but he didn’t believe me. I had to tell him a few times it was real.
“With him working away it will be nice to take a nice holiday together but I’ve no idea where yet. We’ll need to start thinking.”
Neighbour Kenneth Loades also scooped £30,000 and plans to use the money to attend a family wedding in Wisconsin.
Mr Loades, who earlier this year assisted in saving a man’s life at Ness Islands in Inverness, said he was “chuffed to bits”.
A third winner who was unavailable to collect their cheque in person has scooped £60,000 after playing two winning tickets.
The win comes just two weeks after players in Embo, which is just 20 miles north of Ardross, won the same prize.
Four lucky residents in IV25 3PS netted £180,000 between them.
