A fish farm worker is being flown to hospital after injuring his leg.
The Tobermory RNLI crew were called to the incident, north of the island, at 9.45am.
The Tobermory and Craignure coast rescue teams are also assisting.
A coastguard spokeswoman said: “Tobermory lifeboat has been called to an incident on a fish farm north of Tobermory.
“There has been an accident on board where a leg injury has been sustained.
“The lifeboat is assisting getting the casualty off the fish farm and to Tobermory, where they will be met by the coastguard teams from Tobermory and Craignure.
“Thereafter the casualty will be taken by Helimed 5 to an appropriate hospital.”
There is no indication of the severity of injuries sustained.
