The closure is due to a fault in an electrical cable.
Around 880 homes and businesses are without electricity due to power cuts across the north of Scotland this evening.
The loss of power has been recorded in the IV15 and IV30 postcode areas with 106 homes affected in the Moray village of Hopeman.
Restoration is expected to take place at 8pm.

A statement by SSEN said: “We’re sorry for the loss of supply.
“A fault to the high voltage network has been discovered and engineers have been working on site since 5pm to get the power back on as quickly as they can.”
