The main route between Oban and Fort William was blocked for a number of hours after the incident. A police spokeswoman said one vehicle was involved and that the ambulance service had attended. She said: “We received a report at 5.35pm of a one vehicle crash on the A828 Connel to Ballachulish road near to Duror burial ground. “One male has been conveyed to hospital by helicopter and the road reopened at 21.37.” The extent of the person’s injuries is not known at this time.
