The main route between Fort William and Inverness was blocked in both directions after a three-vehicle accident this morning. Police were called to the A82 at Torlundy at 8.15am. A spokeswoman said: “Officers were called to a three-vehicle road traffic accident at the Aonach Mor junction. “There are no reports of any injuries and officers remain at the scene.” There has been heavy snow in the west Highlands overnight with many motorists reporting difficult driving conditions in the area. The scene is close to where a family of four was killed following a two-vehicle crash on the A82 at Torlundy on February 21. The road re-opened around 10am.
