The crash happened on B9174 Morangie Road at its junction with the A9. Officers were called to the Inverness to Thurso trunk road following initial reports of the collision at 3.05pm. The southbound lane of the A9 remained blocked for some time following the crash as officers remained stationed at the scene. No-one is believed to have been injured following the crash.
