The search for a missing 41-year-old man from the Highlands is ongoing.
Officers in the Kyle of Lochalsh area are searching for Peter Munro (41) from Achintraid near Lochcarron who has been reported missing having last been seen about 10.30pm on Tuesday, March 3 at Dornie.
It is possible that Peter attempted to hitch hike along the A87, A890 or A896 and when last seen is believed to have been wearing a dark coloured jacket, blue jeans and carrying a blue rucksack.
Searches are ongoing involving Coastguard officers and further searches are due to take place on Friday, March 6 involving Kintail Mountain Rescue, the Search and Rescue Dog Association and Coastguard helicopter.
People living between Dornie and Achintraid are asked to check any sheds or outbuildings and anyone who has has seen Peter since Tuesday night or who has travelled these roads and may have dashcam footage is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 1396 of March 5.
Police continue the search for missing Highland man
