Police have named a man who died when his motorbike came off the road in the Highlands.
Lionel Beresford, 62, from Ardgay, was killed in the accident on the A836 near Tain yesterday.
It happened around 3.05pm.
Officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the orange Honda motorbike which was being driven from Ardgay towards Edderton.
Sergeant David Miller, of the Highlands and Islands road policing unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with Mr Beresford’s family at this sad time and they have asked that the media respect their privacy.
“We would urge anyone who may have dash-cam footage showing the motorbike travelling between Ardgay and Edderton, or saw anything that may assist our inquiries to get in touch.
“Please contact the road policing unit at Dingwall by calling 101 and quoting incident 2186 of Friday, 6 March.”
